THE NINETY-NINES, INC., is an international organization of licensed women pilots from 35 countries - we currently have thousands of members throughout the world. The organization came into being November 2, 1929, at Curtiss Field, Valley Stream, Long Island, New York.

The Lindbergh Foundation

In 1977, the 50th Anniversary year of Charles Lindbergh’s epic New York-to-Paris flight, friends of the Lindberghs at The Explorers Club in New York City conceived the idea and General James H. Doolittle and Astronaut Neil Armstrong led a national campaign that resulted in the establishment of The Charles A. and Anne Morrow Lindbergh Foundation.
